About Worcester Park
Worcester Park is a suburb that straddles the boundary between the Royal Borough of Kingston and the London Borough of Sutton. Central Road is its main shopping street, with Worcester Park station at the top, on the line between Waterloo and Epsom. Around it are long residential roads, parks and playing fields, and Nonsuch Park is a short drive to the south.

A different route to Gatwick
From most of Kingston, Gatwick trips use the A3 or the A243. From Worcester Park, the driver can instead head south through Cheam on the A217 towards Banstead, joining the M25 at junction 8 near Reigate. This is often quieter than the A3, especially on Friday afternoons.
Into London
Worcester Park also has a direct train to Waterloo, but for early starts, heavy luggage or late returns, a car door to door is often easier, especially for families and groups travelling together.
For central London, the car normally goes north through Morden and Merton or joins the A3 at New Malden. Worcester Park is well placed for the eastern side of central London, which is why we often run from here to London Bridge and Victoria.
Local life and everyday trips
Worcester Park residents book us for trips to Kingston and Sutton town centres, to hospital appointments, and for nights out. Pet owners use our pet friendly taxi for vet trips, and families with lots of luggage often go for a 6 seater to the airport.
Popular pick-up points in Worcester Park
- Central Road: the main shopping street, with restaurants and takeaways.
- Worcester Park station: at the top of Central Road, with trains towards Waterloo.
- Malden Road and Cheam Common Road: long residential roads towards Old Malden and North Cheam.
- Stoneleigh: the neighbouring area to the south, around Stoneleigh Broadway.
Central Road is busy and narrow, with buses and parked cars on both sides. When you book a pick-up there, the driver will stop on a side road if Central Road is blocked, and call you to explain where they are.
Because Worcester Park sits between two boroughs, some residents are not sure whether they count as Kingston or Sutton. It does not matter for us. We pick up anywhere in Worcester Park, and the booking form works out the fare from your exact address.
